This used to be one of my childhood ambition – to become a graphic designer in an advertising agency until I found out that the clients are demanding, the money is very little and usually you don’t have much room to manoeuvre.

Want to run a business related to beauty? You can do this by opening a spa salon for people who also care about their beauty regime.
If you have beauty therapist training, that’s even better because you can run a company, help your clients and also be your own boss.
Nail Technician
Nail technician doesn’t mean you will give simple nail colours to your clients. You will also have to create nail art for them and improve their nail quality.
If you pick this job, you can either be a freelancer or a boss of your own nail salon. I actually thought of becoming one because I used to love working on my nails. Can you imagine that I used to change my nail colours every week? Now, I just have short nails in order to accommodate house chores and my daughter.

If you can style hair, you will definitely find a position as a hairstylist. You can be a pro in doing wedding hairstyles, colouring hair or extensions and catch the attention of many artists.
It is almost impossible for me to find a hair stylist I like and trust. It took me 5 years to finally found someone in Malaysia who is able to cut my hair the way I like it.

I’m not sure I have a talent being an interior designer because my colours and tastes alway clashes. I love bright colours like red, orange and turquoise, and I love to pair it with dark gloomy furnitures like steampunk.
