Another round of heartfelt thanks is directed at those who took the effort to leave comments. A lot of you encourage me, spur me on and acknowledge my work. I truly appreciate it and I can tell you that you don’t know how your words inspire me to write at every moment. Folks have asked me how am I able to write so much? All I can say, my WordPress app is open 24/7, I write as I eat, I write when I’m ironing clothes, I even write when I’m playing with my cats. (Yes, I have now more than one kitten, I adopted another ginger tom kitten named Matcha from the SPCA.)

I am also extremely proud to announce that the WeChat MiddleMe platform has now 97 followers who get my articles pushed to them on a daily basis, in Mandarin too!

Another fantastic news! MiddleMe now has a new improved logo!! Instead of the previous logo where I used powerpoint slides to copy and paste the logo, I actually engage a professional to help to come up with this logo. Now the little man in the middle is really ‘pushing’ the two Ms away.

There will be changes to the website as I just introduce a new column called Freelancing based on popular demand for Freelancing articles. Another new add-on to the website is a tab which leads to a page for me to introduce my freelancing services to those in need. Of course, my followers will get a discounted rate or freebies.

Trivia Time

Today is the first day of the Lunar Chinese New Year!

For those who aren’t aware of Chinese New Year, it is an important Chinese festival celebrated at the turn of the traditional lunisolar Chinese calendar. It is also known as the Spring Festival. Celebrations traditionally run from the evening preceding the first day, to the Lantern Festival on the 15th day of the first calendar month. Yesterday, I have arrived in Singapore to spend the Chinese New Year’s Eve with my family and we usually have reunion dinner as a big family, just like your Thanksgiving.

The articles will still continue to flow as I have prepped them in advance in lieu of this holiday so you don’t get MiddleMe withdrawal symptoms. Haha! During this period, my response to your comments might be a tad slow but I’ll be back in the full running mode by next week.

I would like to wish all my readers without language barrier, no global boundaries, zero time difference, A HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR and may your 2016 be prosperous, blissful and filled with positivity in your life!

Or the Chinese like to greet 恭喜发财 (Gong Xi Fa Cai)!
