A day to recognise the efforts of those who work tirelessly to build and shape our communities, our economies, and our societies.
Without the labourers who build our infrastructure, to the farmers who cultivate our food, to the teachers who educate our future generations, to the healthcare workers who care for our well-being, and all the workers in various fields in various talent, who will keep our world running smoothly?
Today, let’s take a moment to remember the brave workers who fought for better working conditions, fair wages, and the rights we enjoy today. We’ve come a long way, but there’s still more work to do in advocating for the well-being of all workers, no matter their job, gender, race, or background.
Together, we can build a better future for our next generations. Whether they are parents seeking a work-life balance, underpaid workers seeking for a decent wage or undergrads searching for their first job, let’s us strive for a world where all workers are treated with fairness, respect, and dignity.
Everyone, have a wonderful Labour Day!
