Match Your Personality With The Type Of Freelancing Work

Many of us starting out as a freelancer have difficulty choosing our specialty to offer to the public to attract clients.

For me, I started out as a translator because I’m fluent in both my native tongue, Mandarin, and English. As much as I am successful in this area, translation is not something I enjoy doing. After much soul searching or you can call in talent searching, I realized that I enjoyed the most when I’m writing and researching. And because I’m bubbly and a people person, I’m also well suited for customer service, sales, and social media management.

It doesn’t mean that you are good at something, you’ll enjoy doing it. In the long run, you will get burned out pretty fast, doing the things you don’t feel passionate about.

To help you out if you are a new freelancer or just someone thinking of venturing out on your own, I’m offering an insight on matching your personality to the kind of freelancing gigs you can offer to your clients.
